Last spring, Uncle Pat spent hours cutting out all the tiny pieces for this advent calendar (he made a total of 12 trees and 300 ornaments). Over the summer, Aunt Mary, my mom and I painted all the pieces and now we get to enjoy the countdown with our families. Keira was so excited to be able to put an ornament on the tree each night before bed.
Now on to decorating Rush! After helping me decorate the tree she took down her favorite ornaments to play with. She even made a little bed for the kitten ornament. It was sweet to see her so interested in where the ornaments came from and which ones belonged to her. :)
