Akemi was ready to get the show on the road as we strategically packed the Subaru with all our stuff....
We enjoyed the morning drive and decided to stop in Mt. Shasta for some lunch.
Naveen found a quirky little cafe called, Yaks Coffee Shop. After filling our bellies and meeting some interesting folks we got back in the car, hoping to make our way to Crater Lake before it got dark.
It was exciting to be back at Crater Lake with the kiddos.
We even made it in time for a historical talk about William Gladstone Steel, the founder of Crater Lake.
What a beautiful end to the day!
