cherry picking

It's hard to believe that I've never made Naveen pick cherries with me before! It's something that I've always wanted to do and now that we have kids there is no excuse. :)

We met the Iyers in Brentwood for a morning of cherry picking fun. 
The kiddos loved their big buckets 

 

 and being able to pick their own cherries right off the tree.

 

 The ladder was also a big hit.

 

Akemi was fascinated by all the excitement around her... she told me that she can't wait until next year when she can help.  :)



 After our buckets were full we had a yummy picnic lunch.

 

 This will definitely be a new tradition!
