Grandma Daycare

The beginning of the school year is always super busy. I was a little worried about the transition back to work after being home with Keira for 4 months. Luckily for us, my mom's school does not start until later in August so Keira was able to attend "Grandma Daycare" for the first 2 weeks of my school year. While it was great for Keira to spend some quality time with Grandma, it was also nice for Naveen and I to come home to a clean house and a home cooked meal each night. I think this should be a back to school tradition. :)

While my mom was here helping to take care of Keira, my dad arranged to have a business trip in Campbell, CA. This was perfect timing as we got to help them celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary while they were here. We all went (K included) to Firefly for a fancy dinner out. Keira was a good girl and slept through the entire meal. Before my dad left, we went out again, this time to Fresca for a pre-anniversary celebration for our 3rd year of marriage. I love how wedding anniversaries = yummy food.
