Keira is becoming quite the traveler! On August 28th we set off on yet another adventure. This time we were flying to Colorado for Greg and Alejandra's wedding up in the mountains. We arrived in Denver, were greeted by Uncle Goatie, and spent the afternoon hanging out with the Iyer family (Gautham, Lara +2 and Cili).
That evening we drove up to the mountains and participated in some pre-wedding festivities. Colorado is beautiful this time of the year and Keira very much enjoyed the blue skies, sunshine and plethora of aspen trees.
The afternoon rain shower only provided a beautiful rainbow to the sky for the wedding. Ale looked beautiful as always and the family/friends present were grateful to be part of such a special union between two friends.
Of course the weekend went by too quickly and we were soon heading back to SF for another week of work/daycare. Keira was happy to finally have met some of her parent's favorite people and she did great on the (very) delay flight home.
Hope you enjoy this pics!

Bath Time!
Keira LOVES her time in the bath. She has been super interested in all the little bath toys, and of course, they usually end up in her mouth!

1st Day at Emy's House
August 17th was little K's first day of Daycare. We snapped a quick photo in the morning before we left the house. I thought we better not make too big a deal out of it for fear that I would cry. :) Luckily for me, Keira was happy to see Emy upon our arrival and happy to see me when I came by after school to pick her up.

Sonoma
Check out the pictures from our day in Sonoma. We started at Gloria Ferrer drinking sparkling wines and then spent the afternoon at Sonoma Square. The weather was beautiful and our afternoon consisted of walking around, talking, tasting wine, and eating ice cream. What a fun-filled day together.

Grandma Daycare
The beginning of the school year is always super busy. I was a little worried about the transition back to work after being home with Keira for 4 months. Luckily for us, my mom's school does not start until later in August so Keira was able to attend "Grandma Daycare" for the first 2 weeks of my school year. While it was great for Keira to spend some quality time with Grandma, it was also nice for Naveen and I to come home to a clean house and a home cooked meal each night. I think this should be a back to school tradition. :)
While my mom was here helping to take care of Keira, my dad arranged to have a business trip in Campbell, CA. This was perfect timing as we got to help them celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary while they were here. We all went (K included) to Firefly for a fancy dinner out. Keira was a good girl and slept through the entire meal. Before my dad left, we went out again, this time to Fresca for a pre-anniversary celebration for our 3rd year of marriage. I love how wedding anniversaries = yummy food.
